Essential Qualifications
- MD, PhD, or equivalent in nephrology or related field
- Active research publication record in kidney medicine
- Prior experience reviewing manuscripts for journals
- Institutional affiliation in good academic standing
- Strong written communication skills in English

- Five or more years post-doctoral research experience

Editorial appointments are typically two years with optional renewal based on performance and mutual agreement. Editors are expected to handle approximately 2-4 manuscripts monthly depending on availability, expertise match, and submission volume in their kidney research area. Initial training and ongoing support is provided to all new editors.
