Aims and Scope

Open Access Pub launches the Open Peer Reviewed Journal -” Journal of Palliative Care And Hospice”. JPCH is dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving practice in palliative and hospice care. JPCH serves as a primary resource for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals by providing high-quality, evidence-based research and insights into the care of patients facing serious, life-limiting illnesses. The journal aims to foster collaboration, share innovative models of care, and explore the ethical, legal, and policy challenges associated with end-of-life care.  
 

JPCH welcomes submissions exploring artificial intelligence (AI) applications in palliative care in the form of original research, reviews, clinical case studies, commentaries, and policy analyses covering a broad spectrum of palliative and hospice care, including but not limited to:  

• Symptom Management & Quality of Life: Pain relief, symptom control, and psychological well-being in patients with chronic and terminal illnesses.  
• Palliative Care Strategies & Interventions: Pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to symptom relief and supportive care.  
• End-of-Life Decision-Making & Ethics: Ethical considerations, patient autonomy, advance care planning, and decision-making frameworks.  
• Psychosocial & Spiritual Support: Addressing emotional, cultural, and spiritual aspects of care for patients and families.  
• Family Caregiving & Bereavement: The role of caregivers, support systems, and grief management following loss.  
• Interdisciplinary Care Models: Integration of medical, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and counseling expertise in palliative settings.  
• Healthcare Systems & Policy: Organizational, economic, and policy implications for hospice and palliative care services, including reimbursement and access to care.  
• Technology & Innovation in Palliative Care: Emerging technologies, telemedicine applications, and novel models for delivering end-of-life care.
