Aims and Scope

 

Journal of Food Science and Hygiene (JFSH) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in food science, safety, and hygiene. JFSH serves as a global platform for researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to share innovative findings and best practices related to food safety, quality, nutrition, and public health.  
 

Scope and Focus: JFSH publishes high-quality original research articles, reviews, short communications, case studies, and editorials covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:  

  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Contaminant detection, risk assessment, foodborne diseases, and safety regulations.  
  • Food Microbiology: Pathogen control, spoilage organisms, probiotics, and foodborne infections.  
  • Food Chemistry and Biochemistry: Nutrient composition, food additives, flavor chemistry, and toxicology.  
  • Food Processing and Preservation: Innovative processing techniques, packaging, storage, and shelf-life extension.  
  • Food Biotechnology and Engineering: Biotechnological advancements, nanotechnology applications, and food engineering innovations.  
  • Nutrition and Public Health: Functional foods, dietary trends, nutrition policies, and health benefits of food.
