Journal of Cancer Genetics and Biomarkers

Call for papers

JCGB welcomes manuscripts that make a clear genetic, genomic, molecular, or biomarker contribution to cancer research. General submissions are welcome on a rolling basis.

Research that fits JCGB

The scientific contribution should connect cancer research to a meaningful genetic, genomic, molecular, or biomarker dimension.

Mechanism

Genetics and molecular oncology

Studies that clarify genetic, genomic, epigenetic, or molecular mechanisms relevant to cancer.

Evidence

Biomarker research

Discovery, analytical evaluation, or validation work with methods and evidence proportionate to the claim.

Translation

Clinically connected research

Clinical or translational studies when the molecular, genomic, or biomarker component is central rather than incidental.

Prepare a submission that can be assessed fairly

Use the journal’s own requirements and policies rather than a generic campaign checklist or a promise of an outcome.

Scope

State the cancer-genetics or biomarker contribution

Explain the study question, methods, evidence, and the limits of the conclusions. Clinical management work without a substantive molecular, genetic, genomic, or biomarker element is not the intended fit.

Integrity

Make research disclosures complete

Prepare the declarations and supporting information required by the Author Instructions and Editorial Policies, including ethical, funding, competing-interest, and data-availability information where applicable.

Route

Use one manuscript route

Submit through ManuscriptZone. Do not rely on a “quick” form, email shortcut, or an unlisted special-issue label.

Interested in a future themed collection?

JCGB lists a special issue only after its scope, editorial leadership, and schedule have been verified. See Special Issues for the current status; do not assign an unannounced special-issue label to a manuscript.
