Editor Register
We welcome experienced researchers and public health leaders to join the editorial board of Air and Water Borne Diseases. Editors help guide peer review, uphold ethics, and advance clinically relevant scholarship.
We seek editors with a strong publication record in air and water borne disease research, epidemiology, environmental science, microbiology, or related fields. We value applicants with clinical trial experience, outbreak investigations, or registry based studies. Experience with systematic reviews or guideline development is also welcome. Prior editorial or peer review experience is preferred, and applicants should demonstrate familiarity with research ethics and reporting standards. Include ORCID if available.

Applications are reviewed by the editorial office for subject alignment, publication history, and review experience. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for additional information. Final appointments are based on current editorial needs and topic coverage.
Editors are expected to handle a reasonable number of manuscripts each year and to respond promptly to review requests. Workload is balanced across the board and adjusted based on availability and expertise.
Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect editorial decisions. When conflicts arise, editors should recuse themselves and notify the editorial office.
Editors manage peer review assignments, provide decision recommendations, and uphold journal standards. The editorial office supports workload management, reviewer selection, and communications to ensure a smooth process.
