Polymer Blends

Polymer blends are the mixture of two or more polymers in order to obtain new materials with improved properties. Polymer blends can be used to improve properties such as toughness, flexibility, strength, chemical resistance, and thermal behavior, as well as for the reduction of costs. They are used in a variety of industries, including chemical, automotive, food, and biomedical applications. Polymer blends are increasingly gaining attention in the scientific community, as they have the potential to improve materials in a wide range of applications.
