- 2006-2007: Full scholarship covering the first year studies towards the Ph.D. degree from the Apulia region, Italy.
- 2005-2006: Full scholarship covering the studies towards the Diploma in Operators for Sustainable Agriculture from the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM).
- 04.07.2003: First prize of the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari, Italy (CIHEAM¬-MAIB) for the best M.Sc thesis in Land and Water Resource Management-Irrigated Agriculture for the year 2003.
